A Vintage Daisy with Making Memories! - guest blog post

Today on What's Scrapping there is a great color inspiration piece going on.  I was drawn to the pink of the piece and created this:

I knew the title of this one when I snapped the picture!  That doesn't happen all too often.

I've been all sick for the past week...still.  I've managed to scrap a few LOs though!  Finally, right?  I would swear that I am broken, but perhaps I'm not?

be..

I've been away from this blog for a bit as things in life have been a bit overwhelming.  I had to have my gallbladder out a few weeks ago and that really has zapped my energy.  With the energy level down, my creativity took a nosedive.  I'm feeling better now, but man oh man it's been a long few weeks without creating much of anything! 

I have finally completed this layout and thought that I would share it with you to show that I am indeed still alive.  I used the Sweet Peach Crop Shop's Juicy Kit for most of it.  Other bits and pieces are from my collection of goodies. 

So I hope to be back in the swing of things here and get some more work out to you all!

Jenni Bowlin Recipe Box

I've been wanting to make a recipe box for a long time now.  Not sure why, but it has been appealing to me and I found the best wooden box for a steal the other day.  Now think about this recipe...
a wooden box, a fabulous flower I created, AND the Be Our Guest line by Jenni Bowlin!!! 
Stir together and you get....

Now to finish that wooden star, burlap, and rub-ons creation I started.  Perhaps tomorrow?
