Texture WOW! class offered at Michael's

I'm a CSI (certified scrapbook instructor) at my local, Brookfield, CT, Michael's Arts and Crafts store.  I love my "job" and we are introducing a new series of Paper-Ed classes right now!  They are GREAT!

My first Paper-ed class is called "Texture WOW!" and will be on Wednesday, July 6th from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Brookfield, CT Michael's.  Here's the class example that I created!  I love it!  :)

There are eight different techniques in this one project.  Such FUN!

If you are local to me, I'd love to have you in class!  If you're not, check out your local store for further details.  :)

All my best,

A Vintage Daisy with Making Memories! - guest blog post

Good Afternoon!

This afternoon I was asked to be a Guest Blogger for Making Memories!  Having free reign to create with Making Memories products, I just knew I had to make something with my Slice.  Here is the card that I created:

I have some simple directions on the Making Memories Blog as to how to make you own Vintage Daisy.  You can check that out here!

Thanks to Making Memories for letting me share something with you!

Mary, Mary...

Today on What's Scrapping there is a great color inspiration piece going on.  I was drawn to the pink of the piece and created this:

I knew the title of this one when I snapped the picture!  That doesn't happen all too often.

So I'm stumped now.  Where to take this mini-album.....

Yes, I know it needs the pages....

It needs that "something" though!  What is it??

LMK your thoughts!

Sneak Peek...

Just a peek at something I've created for a blog.  Can't post the entire thing yet!  Eeep!!!

Two fun ones!

It's beautiful here in CT today.  Wish I were up to being outside in the sun!  Perhaps tomorrow?

I've been all sick for the past week...still.  I've managed to scrap a few LOs though!  Finally, right?  I would swear that I am broken, but perhaps I'm not?

Enjoy your day!

be..

I've been away from this blog for a bit as things in life have been a bit overwhelming.  I had to have my gallbladder out a few weeks ago and that really has zapped my energy.  With the energy level down, my creativity took a nosedive.  I'm feeling better now, but man oh man it's been a long few weeks without creating much of anything!

I have finally completed this layout and thought that I would share it with you to show that I am indeed still alive.  I used the Sweet Peach Crop Shop's Juicy Kit for most of it.  Other bits and pieces are from my collection of goodies.

So I hope to be back in the swing of things here and get some more work out to you all!

All my best,
~A
